Even though I felt pretty crappy that day, I’m glad that I went because Chris’ homemade Dutch soup made me warm and feel nice inside. I’m sure it had that effect on everyone. We had a great time.

Finally, after way too long with plywood for a counter-top, I made the concrete countertops – and they are nice! Check it!
Thanksgiving Day 2009

This year, we decided to host Thanksgiving dinner at our place. It was potluck. As you can see, we had fun with the Japanese gang. 
Halloween Fun 2009!

Started with the carving pumpkins, we had a so much fun decorating the house more than any other years before, and with the trick or treating. This year, we were the vampire family. We went back to Toluca Lake area and that area became bigger Halloween district than last time. And of course, Oma and Opa have to be there with the family to make the trick or treating more fun!

October 4th, 2009 – Happy 7th Birthday, Amelie!
She got a fabulous Drum set from uncle Dave. And had a so much fun at the Canoga Bowl with all her friends and family.
She had a great day! Thanks everyone for coming to cerebrate her birthday and all the generous gifts you gave her.
