Little Neva and Danny came to visit us from London. This was Neva’s 4th birthday party that Oma and Opa has thrown. It’s hard to believe that she is already 4 years old. She became such a little lady now. Reagan from San Diego also came with her Daddy to celebrate Neva’s birthday. What a great family get together that was.
Amelie has decided NOT to go to trick or treat all of sudden. So, we all stayed in and ate Gumbo together while Amelie is giving candies away to kids. She couldn’t get enough satisfaction by giving candies away since not many of trick-or-treaters stopped by within an hour. Now, Oma, Opa, David and Stephanie are all left, she finally felt like she might be missing out some of the fun after she saw bunch of kids walking around in the street trick-or-treating. While Papa stayed at home and prepared for the visitors, Mama and Amelie went around the neighborhood. What a fun that was! We saw so many houses that are decorated with ghosts and monsters and hundreds of kids in the costume.

David and Stephanie have started building Amelie’s clubhouse in our backyard. Oma and Opa also joined us in the afternoon. Then we all went to see Amelie’s soccer game at the Piece College field. We also went to the pumpkin patch haunted house later on but Amelie chickened out at the last moment so we didn’t go in. Instead we tried “corn field maze”. It was okay. Amelie will try the haunted house next year, for sure!
We cerebrated Amelie’s 8th birthday on 10th this year. She wanted some Halloween theme so we did some Halloween Hunting and drawing on the pumpkins. Again, it was a huge red velvet birthday cake, per Amelie’s request. She sure had a great time. Thanks all who came.
We celebrate Amelie’s Birthday on 8th instead of 7th because there was the other kid who had the birthday cupcakes on 7th. Anyway, per Amelie’s request, we had red velvet cupcakes from Gelson’s. Everyone had a good time eating them outside.
